I agree. The splintering is pretty good. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the groups right now are: Glenn + Old people on the bus Daryl + Beth Tyreese + 4 kids Stookey + Sasha + Maggie Rick + Carl Michonne It's tough for the bus group to really keep up with everyone else considering they're in a bus and can move faster than everyone else.

I completely agree, but I think you knew he was going to got he second he smiled because I think he saw Rick changed. He saw a level headed Rick who existed pre-Ricktatorship that wanted to whatever he could to survive minus the craziness. I think it will be tough for Rick to come out of this with a level head, but the death of Hershel who was essentially the leader of the council and the Governor telling Rick that "he's the leader now" set Rick up to become the leader again. I see that whole speech as Hershel passing the torch. I hope I'm right, but you never know with characters and how they can constantly change. I just really want to see what happens next. Morgan is set to appear this season and then there's that new guy they haven't introduced yet. I also don't think we've seen the end of Carol so there's a lot that has to be answered in the second half of the season.

I was disappointed at first and now I approve. I'm kind of disliking the whole repeat of the season 2 finale with everybody lost and confused, but the fact that they took out two huge characters in that episode was good for once. I'm curious to see where they go. Michonne brought up Macon early in the season and I think that might be the next home for the group.

I'm not saying he isn't fucked up, but right now he's suppressing that fucked up part of him. I think he's genuinely trying to be good and he's trying to pick up the pieces after having nothing to live for, but he's still very much Jekyll/Hyde. I think he can easily snap, but right now I think he's definitely devoted to defending this girl and her family. I think he has no ulterior motives as stands.

I can definitely see that happening, but I think it would have happened up to this point. I think this is set just weeks or even days before when we see the Governor "scouting" the prison. I can see him just telling the girls to go to the prison because it's the safest option for them, but he himself doesn't enter or look for safety. I think him checking out the prison is more of him seeing how safe it is rather than "I'm coming for you, motherfuckers."

I don't think he's clinging to that right now. Look at the start of the episode up until he actually finds the family. He was lost and ready to die. Look at how he reacted to the two walkers like the one at the camp fire and then the one on the street.

I think this is legitimate. What reason does he have to lead a little girl on. I think he legitimately looks at Meghan as his chance to redeem himself for not being able to protect Penny. Hence him promising that he would never let anything happen to her and his whole crazy defense of her. I think this is less about revenge for him and more of him redeeming himself for failing to save his family. I think right now the Governor is deep inside of him, but not what he's clinging to.

I think something drastic would have to happen to drive him to attack the prison. It doesn't appear to be on his mind at all. This a guy who had nothing to live for and now found a new reason to live in Meghan. I think if she were to die then the Governor would snap, but for now he seems more focused on her safety and that of her mother and aunt.

The two other women are alive. They showed them in the preview on the Talking Dead outside of the ditch with Martinez's group.

I loved last night's episode. It really makes you think about whether or not the Governor has actually changed for the better or whether or not he's more of a Jekyll/Hyde. I think it's quite apparent that this girl is his new Penny and he wants to do whatever he can for her, but running into Martinez should definitely start conflict. To the girls he's Brian, to Martinez he's the Governor. I'm excited to see how this story plays out because it will show us who the Governor is and how he can handle this conflict of past vs. future. I think we'll see some seriosu conflict between Martinez and the Governor over his new identity.

Fast injured his leg tonight and hasn't returned. The last things he needs is another leg injury.

There's a Chinese place on Union and 6th that's pretty good called Hunan Delight. Not very pricey at all and it's generally quiet. I know it's one of my go-to restaurants if I want to get something to eat, but I also don't try to go for very much variation.

I'd suggest something, but I'm really only familiar with the Italian and Chinese restaurants there. They're easy to go to for lunch.

So, I'm guessing it would be pretty fucking awkward for me. I'll just chronicle the events of the evening and post a detailed description of the night of minor showing up to a bar with a bunch of drunk guys he's never met in person before, but has spoken to every day for the last two years. Maybe if I say I'm a dentist they'll let me join in.

Are you saying I should be worried because of the drinking or that I need to match the drinking? I can bring a gallon or two for myself.

Almost met Dollaz tonight. My phone died mid game. So close I finally meeting someone fr the board. I'll have to wait for a board meet up I guess. I just need one on a weekend. I'll bring milk for myself.
