As great a season Panarin has had, was that the first leg kick of the season? I feel like he's barely done it this year, if at all.
He was doing that windmill guillotine for awhile.

This might be time to gracefully retire any residual anti- Bread takes

I could not have, with a straight face, possibly have predicted that the Rangers would win their first 7 playoff games - including 3 vs CAR. Holy fucking shit.

Oh baybee. Who the hell got it?

Because it just would have been too easy.

I love it. Please let ADA lose them this game.

Laf BABY! I think he's figuring out that finishing thing.

I feel like having Rempe in adjusts the barometer of the other team acting up however having Chytil in extends the bench and allows an opportunity to score.
They have too much to lose to get too feisty at this point.

You clearly don't understand the argument. Enjoy the game
I just don't think the argument is significant in the larger scheme of the game.

Not fatalistic just angry because you scrambled 2 lines who are currently playing ineffective to insert a mediocre player who is rightfully scared of contact.
They've won 20 of 23 games w the prior line combos. Why would you fuck w that??
Rangers are playing CAR even after 2 in their barn in a must-win game for them. We're in prime position to take this in the 3rd - a period that Rempe doesn't generally participate in. And we have fucking Chytil, who I guarantee plays if there is an overtime or two. Get over it and watch the game. It's pretty good.

Feeling pretty good, actually. Boys haven't been caved in. Made it through 1. Better opportunity ahead.

I never posted it so I get no credit, but I had settled on Chyts as 3LW and Cuylle as 4LW as the strongest play. So I am pumped.

Biz goes to bat for the Skjei penalty call on the TNT pre-game.

One more time boys, the first order of business is to completely sap their will to live. NOW LET'S GO!!!

If ever a team needed Berube.
Unless they get some Berube-esque players, it's going to be hard to put his stamp on the culture.

What's the over/under on how many times they bring up Shesterkin's playoff string of consecutive games with 3 or less goals let up?

First the theory is Panarin’s skill makes them better, now it’s this….got it. All I know, aside from the game where he concussed Oshie, we haven’t seen regular season Panarin. He's put up 2 game-winning goals in the 1st round and 4 points in the first two games against one of the top teams in the league. The thing is that it's not actually the regular season anymore. It's the Playoffs and tougher to find time and space to do the things that Panarin does. Is it a far-fetched idea that a team would gameplan their defense around their opponent's leading scorer - who might be the 4th leading point producer in the NHL? 7p in 6 games so far, not otherworldly, but nothing to sneeze at either.

You’re right, all secondary masterpieces - one was a blocked shot, Fox made an unbelievable play on another…Roslovic has been more noticeable, let that one simmer
The defensive attention he is siphoning away from Laf and Trocheck leaves them room to operate. And operate they did.

2023-24 ECSF #3: Rangers @ Carolina Hurricanes — Cry Hard With a Vengeance
in New York Rangers

I didn't mean to dismiss your argument out of hand. This was always going to happen at some point. I really do think that the pressure the Canes were under to win was going to naturally tamp down shenanigans. That and the need for fresh legs (that Lav trusted) made this as good a time as any. I could see him coming back early in a FLA series (should NYR make it there) and continue to provide usefulness, but we needed different tools tonight.
