^I'm totally on board with this! Absolutely a warrior. G ate more pucks than we can count -- that would be a stat to learn. How many shots did he block as a Ranger? In his career? Guy will be black-and-blue for years recovering from those blocks. I'm on the fence about the number retirement but he should get a night of honor at MSG to celebrate his time with us.

Listen. I?m not killing anyone. Quinn has made it a point to talk about physicality. You?d think it would be apparent tonight. Guys wanting to make an impression and all that. I?m on board with letting this all shake out and let?s see what we are 20 games in but I?m just pointing out that what I thought might be an obvious change doesn?t appear to be all that obvious.

I was just going to post about the team in general. So far through 25 minutes of play, and outside of the 2 fights (one of them was not even a fight) the NYR still don?t show me much of a physical identity. If we can become a high scoring team, ok I can live with that. But we know that doesn?t last. Quinn wants us to be ?difficult to play against.? Is this, that?

Does camp seem short? They started skating Friday and the first pre-season game is tomorrow night only 5 days later. Compared to the past where guys were not in shape, I think guys are now better prepared. Still, taking multiple shifts with line mates is what?s needed most IMO. Coach teaching too. Am I off-base?

We'd all love to see Buch play up to what we hope is high-output potential. Quinn is certainly giving him a shot! (I was at MSG last night sitting on The Bridge for Brandi Carlyle concert...and I must admit, looking around at the NYR banners and knowing the season is just around the bend got me pretty stoked. LGR!)
