  1. Except its not because its still $2M cheaper than have Perry on the ice doing nothing.
  2. The following roster fits under $83M cap with $500k to spare: Panarin (11.5) - Zib (5.35) - Buch (2.1) Chytil (894k) - Pavelski (8) - Kako (925k) Lemieux (1.25) - Andersson (894k) - Kravtsov (925k) Nieves (700K) - Howden (863k) - Fast (1.85) Skjei (5.25) - Trouba (8) Hajek (833k) - DeAngelo (1.5) Staal (5.7) - Fox (925k) Shattenkirk (6.65) Hank (8.5) Georgiev (792k) Buried/Bought-Out Smith (3.275) Beleskey (825k) Girardi (3.6) Strome (433k)
  3. We've seen Hayes' play the last two years. Does anyone really think he's gonna score less than 50 points centering JVR and Voracek?
  4. There's no reason Panarin/Zibanejad can't do what Tarasenko/O'Reilly just did.
  5. Kakko's rookie year will be way closer to Laine than Svechnikov
  6. How sweet it would be if the Devils leave Hughes for the Rangers and Hall signs here to play with him in 2020.

  8. Its pretty self explanatory... https://www.icewarehouse.com/Cut_Resistant_Hockey_Skate_Socks/catpage-HOCPROTSOCK.html
  9. Sure they count. Same as the 0fers against Great Britain and France who don't even belong in the tournament.
  10. Is Kakko dominating the tournament? 5 of his 6 goals were scored in the first 2 games. Gotta slow the hype train down a little. Fun facts about this tournament: - Half the teams are garbage - Hughes is playing behind a bunch of NHL all-stars - There are 2 NHLers on Finland's roster (one of those is Juho Lammikko who has 40 games in the NHL and doesn't really count) - Numerous top players are not participating - Anthony Mantha is Canada's leading scorer
  11. After Gaudreau got hurt the put Hughes with Kreider and Eichel. And he looks just fine there. They've also probably played well over 100 games since their last offseason, with Hughes flying all over the planet to get to the various tournaments. Most recently US to Sweden for the U-18's, back to the US for the Draft Lottery, to Slovakia for the World's. He'll get a few months to rest and he'll be just fine in the NHL next year.
  12. Is that why they waited a month to call him up after Hajek got hurt?
  13. Sure, "whatever you feel like saying to make a point."
  14. If Fox, Rykov, and Hajek platoon 2 spots (164 games) they'd each get 54-55 games. Then the other 4 D-men (Skjei, Staal, ADA, whoever) get normal days off bumping the rookies into the 60 game range. "first year NHL player playing 60 games , and giving [the other] guys normal days off."

  18. Sure, except then they traded two #5 OA picks for Dougie Hamilton and Michael Ferland, and one of those #5 OA picks scored 78 points this season. Sent from my [device_name] using http://Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
  19. Gaudreau - 165 DeBrincat - 165 Point - 166 Panarin - 168 Sent from my [device_name] using http://Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
  20. Is that a bad thing? Marc Staal was a hell of a defense-man until he got his brain scrambled and his eye knocked out in back to back years, and despite those major injuries he'll still probably have a 1000 game career.
