Yup. I can't find it now, but Rupp did an interview somewhat recently talking about "Rempemania" and how his presence makes guys feel two inches taller. That's real, even if you can't measure it with a boxcar.
can you measure it with a ruler?

I might go to game 4 so it'd be pretty nice to be up 3-0.
waive to the camera so we could see you

Disagree on testing him. If he gets hit in game he gets hit in game. Any hit could retire him so hitting him in practice would be just insane.
disagree. any hit during a game could retire him and that could be demoralizing to his teammates.

Ballsy move by Tocchet keeing Silovs in at 4-1 and letting him battle back and the team rally around him.
But who is he goign to pull him for? they have no one

I doubt that. They're dealing from a position of severe disadvantage. He's a great regular season player, but he's incredibly expensive (this automatically limits the prospective trade partners), and he's due a new deal almost immediately.
I forget who said it, I want to say Chris Johnston, but there's a lot of talk that they may need to accept a "loss" trade that they make up for in the aggregate afterward with what they then choose to do with the money they free up.
Thats what "they" said about Eichel and then he led a team to the cup
-
I would let Berube decide on what to do with Marner. Its obvious that the management of the leafs are not the brightest and will probably fuck up the trade somehow. Barube seems like a level headed guy who could right the ship and at least give it direction.

Jezuz peeps, enough dissecting every fucking stat. Enjoy the game! Enjoy the ride!!
Btw, any stats on why Trouba sucks?

Chytil needs to get hit few times during practice to see how he holds up. any opposing team will go after him cause he's a low hanging fruit.

Most years I’d be worried. This team doesn’t let shit rattle them. Light this guy the fuck up.
kid's going to be nervous.

I want Rempe on the bench just in case Carolina goes after our players if they fall behind in the third. And you need Rempe if the rangers fall behind and want to start shit.

I wonder if he is still shaken up over the hit from Game 4 against Washington.
Hes played great. Few times I noticed that Gustafsson got time with PP1 outside of him needing to sit for the beginning of it due to being checked out or just lost in a line change quickly or something along those lines.
Its playoffs. All these guys are a little banged up.
its gotta be the knee hit. Not good

who's going to step up tonight? i'm counting on Fox to have a monster game

A-hole is a great player but I rather have Mika on my team.
mika is a better all around player without a doubt. But offensively i'd rather have Aho

Do set ups on the rush count less?no, but Guenzel has played all of his career with Crosby and now playing with Aho, who's Cane's best offensive player. Personally i dont think he's getting as much production with Zib centering

I agree but is Aho really a better setup man than Zibanejad?
Maybe he doesn't need as much help as you (and I) thought.
Did you see Aho's play along the boards last night when he set up Guenzel for a goal? Zib doesnt play along the boards. He doesnt win many puck battles. He's great on the rush

He’s only ever played the left side.
And he’s played it oh so well… as a clutch performer.
Hes proven he’s a great player in his spot.
Hes proven he can easily play with great players.
But you need to keep him on his side.
He’s the player you never move.
Guentzel is one of the most underrated players in the NHL.
And has been for a number of years.
Name 10 left wingers who’ve been better than him over the last 5-6 seasons?
You cant.
No one can.
Cause they don’t exist.
he's been great, no doubt but he needs a setup man. He doesnt create himself.
