Dunny
Can't tell if that's a serious question. Why would you play your backup b2b when you have A) A superior option B) An equal option you want to showcase

Phil
Why? Because he's the mother fuckin' King, that's why.

Ozzy
Hank earned this start for sure. He looked great in Detroit...I think Larkin, if he had to paint the ceiling of that arena, he'd know where all the bare spots are!! He was looking up at it all night!!!
Pete
Why would you play your backup b2b when you have A) A superior option B) An equal option you want to showcase 1. He's not the backup. He's in a rotation 2. He's coming off a shutout 3. He's rested and hasn't played in 3 weeks 4. The world knows what Geo is. A Feb game vs a WC team isn't going to move the needle one way or another. LONG LONG LONG TIME FAN
Huge test for the team from NYC tonite @ the world's greatest arena! Will " The King " prevail, if in fact, he is in goal? Possible upset in the making against a team that has had its ups and downs. I'm always the eternal optimist. That's why I always root FOR the team to win and FOR every player in the line-up contrary to many peeps. Will #20 be available? He is by far, the best net front presence on this team - not a bad passer either - altho' there are others that fit the bill as well. See ya'll and never forget the axioms; H.F. & T.G.

Sharpshooter
At worst it sounds like it's a day-to-day thing for Kreider. They lucked out.
Ozzy
Kreider Game time decision I don't know why this team plays with fire. Why not just sit him for this game if there's any question at all health-wise. If he's damaged goods at the deadline, we're just going to lose him for nothing, or get a shitty return in a deal. I think they need to suit him up again before the trade deadline though. Prove he's not hurt. Exactly...we've seen a fairly large sample size of his hot play, the last 6 weeks. I think the team should protect their investment so to speak. I actually hope they pull the trigger a little sooner, but they most likely won't get peak value unless they wait until the deadline.

I hope you're right, 3-1! ...but you know this team's luck; If there's a way to get a hosing, we'll find it! I dread Kreider getting banged up and costing us that trade. The pending deal with him could actually be a very important one in the future of this team....or it BETTER!!!

I don't believe the day-to-day diagnosis and I'd need to see him play before unloading one of my prospects/ high pick.
