RJWantsTheCup
Defensively Skjei/DeAngelo has to be one of the worst second pairings in the league.

siddious
Please we all know mcilrath will have a career game tonight.. he will lay kakko out and change the trajectory of his career and score a goal and an assist. That?s just how things work for the rangers. Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
Ozzy
Nah man, I got no moves. I'm more of a "skate by you and take it low" kinda guy. I remember when we drafted him, I think I read somewhere that D-Mac couldn't skate backwards very well. He's actually +2 after 7 games with the Wings! Funny thing is that on the Red Wings web site he's pictured in a Rangers uniform! LOL

He's actually +2 after 7 games with the Wings! Funny thing is that on the Red Wings web site he's pictured in a Rangers uniform! LOL His skating was always a concern. Then it actually got somewhat better. Then he had that devastating injury to his knee/leg and it regressed.

Ozzy
3-2 Rangers. McIlrath with all 5 goals. Awesome!! I'm really looking forward to this game tonight. I wanna see these kids bounce back hard and play a tough 60 minute game. I got Panarin, Kakko, Kreider (don't faint!) and Fox with goals tonight; leaning toward a 4-2 Rangers win. Zuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuc
Andersson and Lindgren out Staal and McKegg in This is so annoying. Why is Skjei playing instead of Lindgren? What do Skjei have to do to be scratched? And McKegg in for Lias? Is that a bad joke? Are we seriously gonna play a line with Haley - McKegg - Smith IN THE NHL???? josh
Lindgren's been good. That's a big shock. I guess he "earned" being benched.

RJWantsTheCup
Knew Staal would be back in the lineup eventually, surprised it's for Lindgren though. Maybe they are going to rotate 4 D on the leftside for awhile?
Dunny
Lias and Lindgren scratched for Greg Mckegg and Marc Staal. Quinn really testing my patience.
BrooksBurner
I kind of get the feeling that there has to be pressure to keep Skjei in either because of contract or because he could also quietly be on the trade block. Bad optics if they bench him. Lindgren and Hajek both have played better than him.
ThirtyONE
It's not a big deal to sit either player. Anderson was not good in the last game and someone on D needed to come out eventually for Staal. Such as the case was with Staal, Lindgren will be back in the lineup. And probably sooner rather than later. The issue, however, is that if the Rangers aren't comfortable making Staal a 7th dman then they're going to be stuck in this situation all season. You'd have to think that somewhere down the road, they'll find a new home for Brendan Smith -- who clearly isn't going to be playing defense this year. Slobberknocker
i understand staal needing to get back in but this is why i think quinn's meritocracy statement could well come back and bite him on the ass. Lindgren should be in there. kid's played well.
