  1. No doubt. It was more of a lucky bounce for Carolina than anything else.
  2. I find a majority of Devils fans are Islanders fans who couldn’t handle rooting for a shitty team for so many years after they won their 4 cups in a row. What would they ever do if the Islanders and Devils were ever good at the same time and played each other in the playoffs?
  3. Capitals 2-2 against Rangers during the season swept in playoffs. Regular season records don’t mean shit.
  4. I believe they are waiting to see if and what game 7's there will be to play on Sunday before determining start times.
  5. Florida is going to kick the crap out of whomever wins game 7.
  6. Doesn't PLD center the first line on the all overrated team?
  7. They use to do 1-16 seeding. I remember back in 81' I believe the Rangers played the Kings in the first round, then the Blues before losing to the Islanders. It was cool to play different teams. Regular season seemed to mean a bit more back then, but even just conference seeding 1-8 is better than the current format.
  8. If ever there was evidence the league needed to change the playoff format no matter who wins this series one of the top two teams in the confernece will be out after the second round.
  9. Hughes should win but the league has a love affair with Makar.
  10. Rangers had their easy opponent. Every series from here on out is going to be a hard fought series. There's no easy teams left.
  11. Hellebuyck is lucky they vote on awards before the playoffs.
  12. It's easy to say sit Rempe but their record is 18-2-1 when he plays and right around .500 when he doesn't since he played his first game. Not so sure that is a coincidence.
