Jules Posted April 1, 2011 Share Posted April 1, 2011 Jules buddy, you know I love you and the story of Fortuna Sittard is amazing - but i can't help but notice they're like the Pittsburgh Pirates of Dutch football :D I think it's even worse, LOL. 0-0 draw in a game we could've easily won against a rival who almost handed us the points. It was exciting because it's my beloved team against one of our arch rivals, but other than that... glad I didn't bring any neutral friends with me. The game was also completely disrupted by police intervention to keep away fans at bay, by idiots throwing firecrackers at opposing teams players and shit like that. I love soccer, I really do, and I love this team too, but sometimes I wonder why I still go to their games. Soccer has gone down the drain by commercialism, idiocracy in the stands and by backdoor transactions among teams, players and agents. I wish I could walk away from it all, but the love is too deep.
