QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

"Fans here are the best. Unbelievable. I don’t want to let them down. I love them so much. No matter what, they’re chanting. I want to go out there and I want to make them proud. I want to go out there and do something. Do something every shift. How can you not have energy when they’re chanting that out there? It was awesome. Unbelievable."

Pivotal game.  Can’t give the momentum back to Florida. Might be tough to get it back.   Have to get at least 1 of these next 2 or we’re basically finished.

Will be interested to see what the crowd is like.  How pro-Rangers will the crowd be?

Both trade deadline duds with our draft dud.  Call me crazy but I smell a game winning goal from that line.

If they don’t can I call you a dud?

Since the centers won’t change, this is what I’d like to see Lavi do:

Panarina-Trocheck-Lafreniere
Kreider-Zib-Wheeler

Chytil-Wennberg-Roslovic

Cuylle-Goodrow-Rempe

If Wheeler can’t hang, even though I think he can, there’s 3 options to swap him in game.

Wheeler..... hrrm... His issue before the injury was that while the experience and thought processes were well above average he was at least a couple of steps slow on the execution.  At least.  I worry that this problem will be even more prominent in a playoff series.  On the other hand he is probably our best option for suiting up a player who can safely beat the press when exiting the zone.

Choices choices.

Zero clue how Sutherland made it to ref in the Conference Finals. He and McCauley are two of the worst.

Just going to assume he's there based on seniority b/c there is no other reason he should be there.

Fortunately McCauley didn't officiate a game since the first round due to an injury, and now he's fully out for the playoffs.

I would put Kakko in for roslovic. This is a good series for him for the same reasons as wheeler. Both of those guys should be absorbing contact and making plays well which is what I think we both think we need for this series

Have fun @knedragon

Bring us the Ws.

I’m gonna say regular season the last 20 years it’s been pretty Blue , last few years I’d say 50/50 , before that little more Blue for sure . Even with the team they put on the ice the last 2-3 seasons not to many people there unless a big market team is in town .

Makes sense for this series. The bigger you are the less good Florida can be against you. Doubt it would happen tho

I still think if wheeler is healthy I’d rather see him. This series is all about can the winger on the boards make a break out play to the center or off the wall and not turn the puck over.

That said, nobody has ever looked at that fourth line and ever been like “ok I think we will have a nice time playing against them”

I don’t know, wheeler was pretty slow before and now all that rust?
