I've seen this kid play as well.  Very tall but seemed pretty goofy.  Wasn't a horrible skater for his size but wasn't dominant.  I'd be shocked if he made it to the NHL.

Analysis: Ty Henricks is a big winger with some skill, but his skating is quite heavy and that will be his main test at the higher levels. Henricks is a California kid and played with the Anaheim Jr Ducks coming up.

My son played against this guy. He was a beast at 16u.  Granted he was already 6’4” at the time.  We got lucky and his skate broke in the 3rd period and we held him to 4 goals…

Under his watch, yes, but I doubt Drury knows anything about 6th rounders. That late in the draft, it's usually the scouts who have a guy they're lobbying for.

Seems our later picks have been fairly decent.  Cuylle was a 5th I think, and Berard was a little later too if I remember right.

I think it’s fair to say the drafting has LOOKED better under drury. Seemingly anyway. That 2023 draft is looking great but I guess we won’t know for sure for a few more years.
