QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

“Honestly, you want guys playing. We always talk about young guys, if they’re not going to play they should play in the minor leagues, obviously, when they don’t have to clear waivers. That’s a big part of it. The kid came up and he played two real good games. He did his job and we want to give him another look and he deserves that. Sammy went down there and played some games [as part of a conditioning assignment], which was part of the plan and it worked out real well. Sammy is back up and he’s going to be back with our team.”

— Gerard Gallant on Will Cuylle and Sammy Blais

Why? Igor needs a day off after playing 10 minutes of an all star game?

Workload, playing M, W, F or Saturday this week will take a toll after travelling 2 1/2 hours to/from Florida, shooting the puck into the ocean, and playing 10 minutes.

Fully expecting to get Halak on Friday vs. Seattle (f'n 2 games in row that I will get Halak as the starter)

i would really like to see goodrow on that top line instead of vesey.

dude brings something special to the table as far as style and attitude, and weve seen he can flash some unexpected skill.

even if he's not a typical first line talent, our ~20 mill RW & C should be able to facilitate plenty of scoring.

The operative word is "should", but it seldom materialize due to being consistently inconsistent. Let's hope the second line will pick up the slack in that case....👌
