Pistol Pete Posted May 12, 2022 Share Posted May 12, 2022 You need to look where all the goals are coming from…guys in the slot with no one covering them…can’t fault the goalie and many of them…Domingue has the advantage knowing guys in the slot are covered and don’t have time to stick handle or pass. He can just dart out from the RVH and smother shots and just over commit. Shesty can’t do that…need the D to tighten up the home plate and cover the scoring area! Yeah Pens have scored on 4 different things this series: - All alone in the slot - Deflections - Backdoor passes for tap ins - Off the rush Igor's been bad, but the team is TRYING TO make life hard for him. Like Vezina-Caliber goalies grow on trees, I understand the frustration but we've seen the guy all year be amazing almost top 5 all time season while carrying the team for at least the first half of the year.
