Bruce Willis is "stepping away" from acting after being diagnosed with aphasia.

 

The 67-year-old actor's family shared the news on Instagram Wednesday, writing alongside a photo of Bruce on Instagram, "To Bruce's amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities."

Sucks man. He's been in some legendary stuff.

Very unfortunate. This very much explains the string of B-movies he's been doing lately — at least he was able to find a way to ensure his family is taken care of.

That's such a terrible position for him to be in. Can't read, write, speak, or understand. Has to be worse than dementia in a lot of ways.

Damn, that sucks. He was such an icon growing up and the last few years he's just been doing this mostly awful B movie-type projects that was kind of sad to see. But, he's got bigger problems now. That sounds like an awful disease. Nothing but the best for Bruce.
