Looking forward to this. 

1. Love these books.

2. Love the fact this is no longer 5'2" 135lb Tom Cruise playing 6'5" 250lb Jack Reacher.

3. If anything like Jack Ryan, Amazon wll do a good job with this.

Loved Alan Ritchson as Thad Castle, and his portrayal of Hawk felt like one of the few good things about Titans. Might give this a shot just because of him. I hope this ends up being a breakout role for him.

I got excited seeing an ad on Facebook for The Hunt for Red October with a picture of John Krasinski in it.  I loved the movie back in the day with Alec Baldwin.  Would love to have seen a remake.  Ended up being a book ad though.

Just a few episodes in and I'm already hooked. I always liked the Jack Reacher movies (well, most of them), and so far they're doing a great service to this franchise with the series.

 

Edit: I just saw on IMDB that it's already been renewed for a second season!

3 EPs in so far, really good. Agree that the actor who plays Reacher who was also Hawk in DC Titans, he's good in these roles.

I hadn't seen him in anything before this (I don't watch DC movies), but I agree, he's perfect in this role. I also never read the Reacher books, but his physical stature is apparently spot on to what's described there.

I'm really loving this show. I have two episodes left I think, and I think I've figured out the plot - excited to see if I got it.

 

It really gives off 24 vibes - main characters who give zero fucks about the rules putting the mission before all else.

Yeah, I finished in a couple of sittings myself, very riveting TV. I'm already yearning for more. I liked it better than the movies, and again, feel it's a much better representation of the character.

Great casting. Good acting. Mostly.

 

Really suffered from laughably bad production quality at times, particularly in the finale. Pretty standard in 2022.

 

Killing Floor was a good book, but Child pooched the ending. There's better offerings to pick from going forward, it's been so long since I've read them I forget their names, but there's some beauties.
