Sharpshooter Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Oh, wow, that's pretty neat. The Rangers are one of the few teams to not get into serious COVID problems, so this has a good chance of happening if everything stays status quo. It could be fun.
Vodka Drunkenski Posted February 15, 2021 Posted February 15, 2021 Is this still a possibility with Philly
Morphinity 2.0 Posted February 15, 2021 Author Posted February 15, 2021 They're supposed to practice tomorrow so looks like Philly will be playing with in the Tahoe game.
BrooksBurner Posted February 15, 2021 Posted February 15, 2021 Is it wrong to kinda hope theres maybe a couple of false positive covid tests for Philly?
Morphinity 2.0 Posted February 15, 2021 Author Posted February 15, 2021 False positives are usually resolved in a day. Stamkos had a false positive last week, was placed on the list, testing negative and played that day.
LindG1000 Posted February 15, 2021 Posted February 15, 2021 Is it wrong to kinda hope theres maybe a couple of false positive covid tests for Philly? Unfortunately, yeah. It would be sweet to see the Rangers blues on Tahoe, but it's looking like Philly might be good to go here.
BrooksBurner Posted February 15, 2021 Posted February 15, 2021 False positives are usually resolved in a day. Stamkos had a false positive last week, was placed on the list, testing negative and played that day. So I'd have to go full dickhead and hope for real positive COVID tests? I won't do it.

Yeah, it looks like the Flyers next game on the 18th against us is going on as planned. So, if that holds true, they'll be playing in the outdoor game.

Pete Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 How would that work with state to state quarantine? Yup. If the Flyers turn up more positives though - they'll need to make a call quickly.
Albatrosss Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 How would that work with state to state quarantine? lol
Blue Heaven Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Contingency plan in place if Flyers can't play the game.
Sharpshooter Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 The Rangers are the undisputed champions of outdoor games with a flawless 4-0 record. They need to defend their title!
Phil Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Contingency plan in place if Flyers can't play the game. Sure feels that way.
paddynyc Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Contingency plan in place if Flyers can't play the game. How soon would they have to tell the Rangers they are playing Sunday ?
Sharpshooter Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Too bad the NHL won't have enough time to make a special jersey for it to make money off of. :p
Pete Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Interesting, the Rangers would need to quarantine for 3 days after returning to NYC...
Albatrosss Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Interesting, the Rangers would need to quarantine for 3 days after returning to NYC... why only 3 days? special treatment? In NY by regulations you have to quarantine for 4 days and then take the test.
