Vince Mergogaglia mentioned that he has never seen anyone have an issue with Tony, and said most guys seem to like him. He also did a lot of MSG segments, interviews, and mic-ups. They dont pick the lockerroom asshole and cancer to do these. On the other side, Georgiev is a goalie, and we already know he's weird. ADA said something, Georgiev snapped, probably not much of anything, and everyone moved on. Quinn found out and whined. How the team responds over the next 2 weeks will be telling. We know they'll come out skating tonight (no one wants to get waived next), but if that only last a game or 2, the team has picked its side, and its not Quinn. And if I have an employee on good behavior that suddenly drops off, you dont fire them. You look into personal reasons - drugs, depression, etc. You get them on leave of absence and you get them help. That is not the case, here. It was when he was in a more advantageous position, racking up points, winning games. When he lost his spot to Miller and was scratched, according to Brooks, he took it poorly. For me, tonight will tell us a lot about this team and where they stand re the treatment of ADA and also their coach. I?m honestly unsure what reaction we will see, if any. A big performance/win reflects poorly on ADA to an extent and is positive for Quinn, another brutal third period loss and Quinn may have lost the locker room.
