It’s more of a goaltending issue IMO. They give up at least 1 goal in the final minute of a period every game, and way too many soft goals getting in.

The coach to date disagrees with this approach, that could be a problem unless something changes.

Right. Yeah, goaltending has been a big issue, but taking a guy who scored 40 last year and basically making him a non factor is not doing them any favors either. It might not mask the other issues, but he's lost right now.
