Not sure this is the right thread… but

 

I saw Jerry Cantrell last night. Fantastic show, the really cool part was Greg Puciato from Dillinger Escape Plan is the “co-singer”  on the tour. I knew he was on Jerry’s last album some, but didn’t realize he was touring. It was about a 60/40 Jerry/AIC set, Puciato fucking killed the Staley parts. It was a killer show.

Listening to New York State Of Mind by Nas live the day after the Game 7 win vs Carolina was a vibe.

 

Been a huge Nas fan since I was a kid, finally got to see him live, and it was awesome.

I guess I'd consider myself a deathcore fan (I have Pain Remains and Kostolom). Do you collect vinyl by any chance? There's a label out of Missouri (used to be chicago methinks) called Wax Vessel - lots of old deathcore releases coming out of the woodwork.

DevilDriver is actually my fave band of all time so I have all their records on vinyl. And Halloween is my fave movie series so I have all the soundtracks!

Classic country. The real country music. And, good piano music. My grandson who is 18 plays some good Billy Joel.

Watching MTV and thinking i grew up on listening Metallica, Megadeth, Ozzy, ACDC, judas Priest, and bunch of hair bands like Bon Jovi, Skid Row, Cindarella, and Van Halen and GnR.  I dont see anything resembling these bands in current rock. What would I be listening now? Zach Bryan?
