josh
I was really hoping to never see him again. I'm fine with 1 of these players, not the 7 the Rangers have in the bottom 6.
BlairBettsBlocksEverything
Not gonna complain about a guy who’ll be our 13th forward/AHL. He can definitely be a good guy to keep in the organization. Can call him up and put him on the fourth line if need be.

Sod16
He is representative of the problem we have with the 4th line. He was on a two-way, so I assume this means we will not get stuck with a one way NHL contract which is something we don't want for this guy whatever the price. Scott
one way doesn't mean much of anything other than what he gets paid if he gets sent down though, correct? Am I missing something, which is certainly possible.
SaveByRichter35
Correct. All it means is a player gets paid the same amount in the AHL that he gets paid in the NHL.

BlairBettsBlocksEverything
Link: And they also qualified Brandon Crawley because... Does seem odd to qualify a guy who they had in the coast most of the year. Not a big deal to have some organizational depth though. Sod16
I think there are cap implications when you send down a guy on a one way. You get hit with part of that NHL salary on the cap. That's what happened with Smith.
