ThirtyONE
Well, they took a risk drafting him but not much of one. It didn't work out. I feel sorry for the kid.

Understatement of the century; there's like...three players (Max Lajoie, Jesper Bratt, Victor Mete) who might make you blink on the pick.
RangersIn7
Meh.This is not really a surprise. Really struggled in Junior prior to his draft year. Only spent a 3rd rounder on him, which is basically a flyer. Did better in Junior post-draft, but that happens often and is not impressive. In his 2 years as a pro, he’s yo-yo’d from AHL to ECHL. He’s never been much better than OK in the A and he really doesn’t have an NHL future, but he can certainly stay in pro hockey and make a decent living as a minor leaguer and maybe he’ll get a shot somewhere. He’s still only 22, so you never know. But they’ve given him plenty of a look and he has never looked like the guy who got exceptional status entering Junior. BlairBettsBlocksEverything
Day would have to agree to the contract termination to be put on these waivers right? Im sure they told him he has no future with this organization, especially considering the D depth we have in the pipeline. Maybe he can go off to europe and make more money. hope it works out for him.
The Dude
Signed a 2 way deal with Tampa. Always had high hopes for this kid. Want him to succeed but don't.. https://www.nhl.com/lightning/news/lightning-sign-free-agent-defenseman-sean-day/c-317485994
