Is that because Toews wouldn't leave Chicago or because Chicago wouldn't trade him? Kane would fetch quite a package. I could see Montreal or the Islanders going big on him, but I wonder how strict Kane's approved team list would be. Of course, this is today, and anything can change tomorrow. Kane has way more likely to be asked if he's open to move. No guarantee he wants to be moved, though.
