I mean, was anyone really thinking this team was going to be amazing just because we brought in the talent?

 

This is exactly to plan. Young team, bright spots, lots of hiccups.

 

Too many hiccups but no structure whatsoever 18 months into a coaching tenure. No identity, nothing. I agree with your initial comments, talent means nothing, but look at Ottawa. I would rather watch a losing effort than just pure shit.

It’s different losing watching Kravtsov, Andersson, etc vs Smith and Haley.

 

Sure, but we're watching a significant number of our critical kids out there. Kakko's out there, Fox, Chytil, Buch, Hajek, Lindgren, Howden.

 

Team is still VERY young, and odds are it gets younger over the year.
