ThirtyONE
They made awful moves over the summer. Agree. They have absolutely no depth and Dubas got rammed by each of his RFAs. He’s showing a bit of inexperience here. Can’t say I don’t love it.

Phil
I’m surprised they’re panicking this much. They have one regulation win in like their last fifteen games and look absolutely awful.
Pete
I?m surprised they?re panicking this much. This is a classic Dubas move. "Numbers say, it's hard to move up in the standings after US Thanksgiving..." Fire Babs a week before TG.
Kevin
I'm sure Babcock will have another job before the end of the season if he wants it. He has to fail bad one more time before the bloom is off the rose. They're flailing. There's no galaxy-braining going on here IMO. It's clear as day. The Leafs' players aren't responding to this guy anymore. He isn't changing. Impasse. What other choice did Dubas have?

LONG LONG LONG TIME FAN
From perennial play-off Red Wings to loaded with talent Maple Leafs who, despite all their talent have played with little zip. @ 8 years, $50 mil. Highest paid coach in NHL history. Hand writing was on the wall.

He should have been fired the day after the second straight game seven loss. Dunny
Keefe will be an interesting story line. I remember watching him when I was 13 or 14 and he was playing Tier2 in the same division as our local team. He was sooo good at that level, but also really chippy. Check the PIMs on this roster that went like 50 and 5 or something crazy. http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/leagues/seasons/teams/0044011998.html

Dunny
That league was a lot of fun to watch. Lots of scoring/skill, and lots of shenanigans. Junior B is cleaner, less theater Junior (Jungle) C was God tier entertainment.
Sod16
If Keenan and Trots got four or five chances each, Babcock has a few more coming.

ThirtyONE
Fucked up Story just came out about how Babcock apparently had then rookie Marner list all the players on the team from most hard-working to least hard-working. Marner did the task assuming it was private. Babcock then read the list to the team. I assume the players hated him from that day on.
