Yeah, I don't see him coming back from this. What, at the age of 36 or 37, with a surgically rebuilt hip? I respect that he wants to leave that door open, but I just don't see it.

Good to hear he might play again. This is literally the shittiest way for a career to end, and as hateful a player as he was at times, you don't want to see his career end like that.

 

He really shouldn't play anything significant though; perhaps at all. He's a 30-something having what amounts to a hip replacement.

 

It's a sobering reminder of the physical toll this game can have on a player.
