I'd be curious to see what happens with Huska. He's talented but can be easy for shooters to solve. Chances are he'll have the starting job in Maine or the backup gig in Hartford. I don't see the team keeping any of Halverson, Nell or Tokarski.

Huska signing can be for the future expansion draft. Rangers will have to leave a goalie unprotected for the expansion draft. Figuring Shestyorkin will not have to be protected, and Georgiev possibly traded to get more assets next season, that leaves Huska as the goalie to be left unprotected.

Hank is one of the best goalies to ever play the game, let alone play for the Rangers. Had he won a SC it wouldn’t even be a debate.

Sawchuck had a brilliant career, but he only played 8 games for the Rangers before he was impaled by a barbecue grill in a drunken fight with Ron Stewart. I don't even think of him as even having really played for NYR.
