Kevin Posted February 11, 2019 Share Posted February 11, 2019 According to the stats the Rangers had the edge in hits 29-14. I think all the numbers were fudged regarding SOG and Hits. I was at the game and 12 minutes in the game the shots were 21-5. Ended up 22-14 or 23-14 after the first. It was unbelievable how many Leafs fans were at the game, I felt like I was back at the Pats/Dolphins game this past December in Miami, where it was 70-80% Pats fans. My entire row except for like 4 people were NYR fans, the row behind me were Leafs fans, and lots of scattered Leafs fans everywhere throughout the arena. I had the opportunity to go to the Rangers morning skate yesterday, pretty cool being in an empty MSG to see the team practice. Kreider does a lot of work working on deflections. That's awesome!
