josh
Couch being delivered tomorrow. $100 delivery fee. Should I (do you) tip the delivery guys? If so, ho much?
phillyb
If you're asking, then you should. If you're not asking, then you probably don't tip at the right time. In this scenario, sure...20 bucks, 'specially if they have to do the heavy lifting, literally (up and down steps, maneuvering through service elevators, pivoting, etc...). phillyb
If there are multiple people, make sure to tip evenly, obv.

Entrance isn’t too tricky, just a turn. Nothing too complicated.

Parsley
If I picture myself trying to do it and it being exhausting or ass busting (delivery - furniture, fridge, laundry machines) I?d tip $10-$20 total for 2 guys....if they are friendly and do a good job. NYR2711
It depends on how much they charge for delivery, IMO. If its cheap delivery, then give them a tip, $100 to deliver, they get a piece of that delivery fee. The only people I tip every time are wait staff and my mechanic.
