Phil
Brassard, who came to the Penguins from Ottawa at the deadline in a three-way deal with Vegas that cost the Penguins a first-rounder (plus), has one year remaining on his contract at just a $3 million cap hit and is likely to be on the move again this offseason. https://nypost.com/2018/05/12/only-one-way-a-lou-lamoriello-rescue-of-islanders-would-work/ Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk

Shane Falco
I feel like he was injured down the stretch. He was prior to playoffs and apparently dealing with lingering stuff during. At least from what it says here: http://www.post-gazette.com/sports/penguins/2018/05/09/derick-brassard-injury-update-penguins-nhl-playoffs/stories/201805090192 Brassard admitted Wednesday that he may have tried to come back a bit too quickly from the lower-body injury that kept him out for the final five games of the regular season. “I was dealing with some stuff,” Brassard said. “Maybe I came back a little too quick. I hurt myself before the playoffs, but I wanted to be there. I wanted to be there for Game 1 to help the team as much as I can. It kind of came back a little bit after that in round two. I was just trying to kind of forget about that and push as hard as I can.”
Future
I don't know what Pitt has to gain by trading him before next season. He's about as good of a 3c as you're going to get.

Pitt is going to have some cap issues soon I think.
