NYRangers92
I really cant imagine how he filmed some of the stuff seen in the trailer with practical effects. I think this is my most anticipated movie of this year. And heres a good article that explains how the warp travel portrayed in the movie is actually more than feasible in the near future http://sploid.gizmodo.com/interstellar-may-be-the-first-movie-that-shows-a-real-1577548722/+kcampbelldollaghan

quick release
M.M. + Nolan + space? Omg. And of course Hans Zimmer behind it. To be honest I'm not into that score if that's what Zimmer has written. Pretty generic.
NYRangers92
Its not. Trailers rarely use the actual music from the movie. Its still 6 months out, so I doubt theyve even done much of the recording for it yet.

NYRangers92
I tend to pick and choose which movies I'll see only in IMAX and this is 100% going to be the next one. I wonder if the Cradle of Aviation will show it. I know they definitely used to show big movies on their IMAX screen (saw Dark Knight there)

Rizz GAWD Lav No Cap FrFr
I saw it Tuesday and loved it. It's long, and if you aren't a space/science fan it won't do it for you the same way, but the amount of tension and anxiety it builds from essentially nothing is incredible and very powerful. In many ways, it's like 2001: A Space Odyssey, but with an emotional element.
Fuhgeddaboudit
I want to see it, but that 2hrs, 50 minutes thing is killing it for me. I can't sit in a movie theater that long.

In general though I can see this movie getting a lot of mixed reviews from all over the spectrum. It's length alone opens it up to criticism. Phil
?My films are always held to a weirdly high standard for those issues that isn?t applied to everybody else?s films?which I?m fine with,? the director told The Daily Beast about online complaints about the science behind his new movie. [bGCOLOR=Yellow]?[The science is] all buttoned-up, and Kip [Thorne, astrophysicist and Interstellar?s science advisor] has a book on the science of the film about what?s real, and what?s speculation ? because much of it is, of course, speculation.?[/bGCOLOR] Separating the fact from the fiction ? sorry, the ?speculation? ? may require more than one viewing of the movie, Nolan suggested. [bGCOLOR=Yellow]?There have been a bunch of knee-jerk tweets by people who?ve only seen the film once, but to really take on the science of the film, you?re going to need to sit down with the film for a bit and probably also read Kip?s book,?[/bGCOLOR] he said. ?I know where we cheated in the way you have to cheat in movies, and I?ve made Kip aware of those things.? http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/christopher-nolan-responds-complaints-interstellar-747807
