Phil Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Watched this earlier. Looks amazing. The first one is still my favorite Spiderman film, far and away. Fuck Tobey McBitch.
-ERIK- Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 I liked the Raimi/Tobey Maguire Spiderman's,except the third one I didn't care for the Amazing Spiderman,it was average imo
Phil Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 James Franco being in any film instantly ruins it for me, almost as quickly as this face:
Pete Posted December 6, 2013 Author Posted December 6, 2013 Yea, this version blows the McGuire version out of the box and it's not even close, IMO. Plus Emma Stone.

Patrick Bateman Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 I wish Spiderman had more powers or was more bad ass. It always seems unrealistic when he beats any half capable foe
Fuhgeddaboudit Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Spiderman has always been one of my favorites to watch or just talk about. Love the humor, the costume, the villains are pretty damn cool as well. I can't wait for this. I'm just not a big fan of James Franco myself. And Garfield > Toby
Rizz GAWD Lav No Cap FrFr Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 I wish Spiderman had more powers or was more bad ass. It always seems unrealistic when he beats any half capable foe He has the strength of someone 10 times his strength, just like a spider. I mean he's not muscle bound but he's still badass. Also, this looks great, and agreed that this version of spiderman is 10000000000% better than the Toby mcfuckthis version. I hated the first one and didn't even watch the two sequels. Apparently they ruined venom in the third one, and that's enough reason for me to be out.
Phil Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 The best thing about the McShits versions was that I saw the third, which was far and away the worst, at a ghetto theater in Brooklyn. The scene where he smacked Mary Jane in that bar? Some dude just shouts "YES!", and the whole theater erupted in laughter.

Rizz GAWD Lav No Cap FrFr Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 That doesn't make cents Posting from work... I meant size lol.
Pete Posted December 6, 2013 Author Posted December 6, 2013 That doesn't make cents Or sense. siddious.
Fuhgeddaboudit Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 That whole emo scene didn't make cents
torontonyr Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Sorry but I don't share this thread's enthusiasm. This looks terrible.
Rizz GAWD Lav No Cap FrFr Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Sorry but I don't share this thread's enthusiasm. This looks terrible. ...why? I'm not saying you can't feel that way, but what about it is off for you?
NYR2711 Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 For a spoiler, check out the 1:14 mark of the trailer and look in the background. I wonder if this is a preview for the next movie.
torontonyr Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Well to sum it up briefly I feel as though they are rushing the progression of the Harry/Peter dynamic. This is an arc that should be built slowly and meticulously. There are a ton of other reasons though such as the sub-par CG carrying over from the original, Electro conjuring up memories of Mr.Freeze, my disbelief of Andrew Garfield's portray of Spiderman, and so on.
Johnnydollaz18 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 This looks fucking awesome, I can not wait! Looking forward to finally seeing Electro in a movie! Also like how they kinda made Harry Osborne similar to the comic books version.
Johnnydollaz18 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Any of you guys catch the few hidden messages in the trailer?
torontonyr Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Any of you guys catch the few hidden messages in the trailer? There are tons - it looks like Sony will be littering the series with villains, something I'm not opposed to if done well.
