My other brother messed up his flight so him and I are actually going to ride up to Providence and hang out for a few extra days. What to do, other than eat oysters? Low cost preferably. I am Scags Posted August 21, 2013 Share Posted August 21, 2013 I second Blue Heaven on that. Place is as sterile as they come. Some decent bars and stuff, and like Boston it has colleges all around it, but after that there is nothing to do besides drink there, and on 95 you're in and out of it in 5 minutes. Your best bet is to stay in Newport. Yes a ton of rich folks live there and its expensive, but attractive scenery, nice quaint downtown, nice beach, and beautiful mansion walk along the cliffs.
