Fuhgeddaboudit
I was thinking about Star Wars today, and the differences between Maul and Darth Vadar. Honestly think Darth Vadar has been one of the most iconic villains in the movie industry. What do you guys think? Name some of your iconic villains. Meh. Voldemort is the icon for villains in films of late, and would absolutely make the top-10 list, right along side characters like Darth Vader, Hannibal Lecter and Heath Ledger's Joker. I'd have a hard time buying anyone making the list higher than any of them.

Fuhgeddaboudit
What about him is pussified? The movies don't do him complete justice but in the books he is pretty twisted. I intended this to be movie-wise, not book-wise. He was a dark character, but I didn't really feel the evil that much coming from Voldemort in the movies. Fuhgeddaboudit
But question still stands, what do you feel makes him pussified? Just curious. Not like his "minions" weren't afraid of him or whatever, but most of the time he had other people doing his work. Even in the last movie, it seemed like most of the screen time was on his dark wizards more than they were on him. Not saying he wasn't evil, because most of his people feared him, but I felt like the movies didn't portray him as much of a bad-ass as I thought they were going to when reading the books. Saucy Mitts
Not necessarily one of the most iconic, but definitely one of the most thought-provoking villains: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zxHPDuh5XRs/T482tPaWNII/AAAAAAAAAIU/KRZVsV-3xlg/s1600/Rutger-Hauer-Blade-Runner-Roy-Batty.jpg
