Fuhgeddaboudit Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 I love the casting here. I might take a look at it for sure when it comes around.
Phil Posted December 17, 2012 Author Posted December 17, 2012 Same here. All very underrated performers. The Liev Schreiber casting is what pulled me in right off the bat, though, and Voight sealed the deal.
Phil Posted May 15, 2013 Author Posted May 15, 2013 https://www.facebook.com/RayDonovanOnShowtime?hc_location=stream No lie lives forever. Ray Donovan premieres Sunday, June 30th at 10PM ET/PT, immediately following Dexter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=r36OT6TsHOw -- This looks amazing.
Shane Falco Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Pilot was fuckin' awesome. Thanks. Was just going to ask this. Ill watch it later on demand
siddious Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Missed it because showtime was not working for me last night. But really wanna see this show.
Phil Posted July 1, 2013 Author Posted July 1, 2013 http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/tv-ratings-ray-donovan-premiere-578049 Ray Donovan brought Showtime its biggest drama premiere to date on Sunday, averaging 1.35 million viewers during its first airing. The series followed another record for Dexter, which returned for its final season to a premiere high of 2.5 million viewers. Compared to Homeland, Ray Donovan's opener was up 25 percent from the Showtime darling's 2011 premiere (1.08 million). Ray Donovan delivered 2.22 million viewers with an encore, eclipsing Homeland by 61 percent.
Fuhgeddaboudit Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 I missed it too, might watch it online this week.
Phil Posted July 8, 2013 Author Posted July 8, 2013 Second episode was even better than the premiere. Shit is heating up!
CreaseCrusader91 Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 Watching pilot now. Boy Reuben from Oceans got thin. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Phil Posted July 15, 2013 Author Posted July 15, 2013 The preview for next week... oh man. And seriously, that kid finds Ray's daughter attractive? She looks like Cro-Magnon man.

Phil Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 Per the Ray Donovan Facebook page: EXCITING NEWS: #RayDonovan has been picked up for a second season! The series recently made #Showtime history as its highest rated original series premiere ever.
Shane Falco Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Fuck yea. I'm really digging this show. Liev Schreiber plays his role well.
5 Alive Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 My biggest gripe with the show is the woman who plays Ray's wife. That horrible, over-done, BAHSTAN accent is absolutely intolerable.
5 Alive Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 I don't mind it. She plays the role well. It grinds right down my spine when she talks. I think Liev's is perfect, likely because he's just a better actor. With him it's noticeable, but much more subtle.
quick release Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I like the show. Jon Voight dancing is the funniest thing. He's so awesome in this show.
cousin Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 My biggest gripe with the show is the woman who plays Ray's wife. That horrible, over-done, BAHSTAN accent is absolutely intolerable. Paula Malcomson. I think she's hot. She was good in Dead Wood.
quick release Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Shes pretty attractive for an older lady.. that accent is attrocious though. Also thinks she fits the role just fine. Theres definitely still something really one-dimensional about this show. Maybe it's just slow-moving.. I don't know. Oh isn't she the same broad from SOA.. the irish one?

Yeah it had potential but getting kind of stupid. Kind of a tony soprano want to be. Voight is good. What is SOA?
