Keirik Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 anyone got some suggestions on some good headphones for my nano? I'm not looking to get Seinheissers or however you spell them. would prefer them to be around 70 or less and be ear buds
Phil Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Ear-bud wise I tend to recommend Skull Candy. Since they are ear buds, there's on so much you can go on them, but Skull Candy makes a lot of really nice models.

Jules Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Well, if not Sennheiser, I'm also on the Skull Candy bandwagon.

Keirik Posted August 8, 2011 Author Posted August 8, 2011 how much are they? when i say ear bud, i mean all of them, not just the ones that like fit and plug your ear completely, but also the type that come with the ipod.
LindG1000 Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 The Ink'd can be purchased online for like 10 bucks.
Snyper Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Why not Sennheiser? And since Sennheiser's don't seem to fit your plan, I'd have to go with the Skull Candy's. I'm not a fan of them, but they do a good job. Then again, I don't like ear buds at all.

Snyper Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Fair enough. I just feel like a price of $70 is a lot if you are rough with them and may lose them. I'm the same with my earbuds that I use very rarely, and I got some Skull Candy Ink'd for like $15. But if you were really content on spending $70, and that was more so a price range rather than a price ceiling, then I'd have to say to go with something with much better quality. There is earbuds out there under the name Addidas, but these are actually made by Sennheiser. I saw a couple pairs for between $45 and $60. Couldn't tell you if they held the quality of Sennheiser, but I would assume if not, that they would still maintain a decent quality level.

Since they are ear buds, there's on so much you can go on them, but Skull Candy makes a lot of really nice models. This, I just bought a pair like 3 months ago when my old Sony ones crapped out. They work very good, and only cost about 40 bucks at Best Buy. They are the ones that actually go in your ears, which I like better than the ones that come with I Pods. They sound excellent, and I have no complaints about them. I think I got them because Phil and Pete raved about them in another thread as well.
Fuhgeddaboudit Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Reviving this thread. Looking to get a pair of Over-the-ear headphones. Bose vs Dr. Dre beats? I like the style of the Dr. Dr beats, but honestly Bose has always been my preference. They are expensive and I am aware of that, but my girlfriend is looking to get me a gift for christmas, and I want headphones that are comfortable and reliable. Bose has always been my preference for speakers because well they specialize in that. What do you guys think around the 150-250 range price for headphones?
Pete Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 She ain't buying you shit when I show her this:This, women are so easy to get tired of when there are so many in the sea!
Fuhgeddaboudit Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 She ain't buying you shit when I show her this: Still with her right? :)
Pete Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Not once I show her this:This, women are so easy to get tired of when there are so many in the sea!
Fuhgeddaboudit Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Lol OK. Back to headphone suggestions?
Jules Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I'd go Sennheiser and certainly not the Dr. Dre stuff.
Fuhgeddaboudit Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I'd go Sennheiser and certainly not the Dr. Dre stuff. Sennheiser over Bose?
FleshistheFever Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I'd go Sennheiser and certainly not the Dr. Dre stuff. Love Sennheisers! Agreed.
Fuhgeddaboudit Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Which ones exactly are around the 150-250 range that are actually good?
Jules Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Sennheiser over Bose? Yes. I find them more comfortable and similar in quality, but lower in price. I really, really like Sennheiser.
Fuhgeddaboudit Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Yes. I find them more comfortable and similar in quality, but lower in price. I really, really like Sennheiser. I am on their website but cannot find one that I really like, any preferences? Some of them are really expensive, I want Around the ear or over the ear
Jules Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I have an older model, don't think they still make that one. My advice is always that for comfort, you should go to a store that sells them so you can feel it. EDIT: The HD 518 is similar to what I have.
Jules Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Here's a review for the Sennheiser HD518: http://www.techradar.com/reviews/audio-visual/hi-fi-and-audio/headphones/sennheiser-hd-518-954009/review
