Phil
http://gossiponthis.com/2011/05/18/family-guy-creator-seth-mcfarlane-is-bringing-back-the-flinstones/ Good news for cartoon lovers all over because “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane recently announced to the world that he will be breathing new life into one of the classic cartoons of all time- – “The Flintstones”! MacFarlane will oversee a new version of the prehistoric animated cartoon, which originally ran from 1960 to 1966, for US network Fox. McFarlane promised to give an up-to-date spin to the exploits of Fred and Wilma Flintstone and their neighbors Betty and Barney Rubble, according to Hollywoodreporter.com. The show will go into production immediately, with a launch scheduled for 2013.

NYR2711
As much as I love Seth McFarlane and his shows, I just don't know how good this was going to be. Anytime they tried to do anything with the Flinstones, it has been a bomb.
Phil
McFarlane made one good show — Family Guy. American Dad and The Cleveland Show are both train wrecks IMO.
NYR2711
I like American Dad and I love Family Guy, but I dot think he will do well with The Flinstones. I agree The Cleveland show is a bust as well.
siddious
american dad is probably funnier than family guy. i dont get the point in bringing back old shows though just come up with something new.

Art Panarini
American Dad is pretty bipolar. One episode it's hilarious, the next it's like what the fuck was I thinking? This sounds like it's basically going to be Family Guy set in the prehistoric times... but I'm a boring shmuck so I'll give it a shot.

5 Alive
Seth McFarlane has one thing on his mind, and I can't blame him. Money, money, money, money, money! http://www.ioffer.com/img/item/162/541/572/lAVvegpk7pJvcNG.jpg

Cash or Czech
I'd check it out, but I definitely wouldn't follow it religiously like some do/did. Would it be on Fox or Adult Swim?
