The Hound for president

The show is better than ever, fucking painful to wait a week between episodes.

It was a slightly slow episode but I think sometimes these type of episodes are needed to set things up for the future, every episode can't be complete chaos. I'm still mesmerized by this show, people stuck in a zombie infested post apocalypse type of world trying to stay alive....I just don't think I can ever stop watching it.

Fuck I missed it

It's very easy to not do this, you simply comment only on what happened in the show. You can do all the comparison to the book you like in your head but how hard is it to remember not to do it on here? I have read the books more than oncer and have no problem with this and i'm not a genius. JUST COMMENT ON WHAT HAPPENED IN THE SHOW ONLY. Simple rules. Can't believe this is a problem for anyone. Just pretend the book doesn't exist.

Really....is it so hard to discuss the tv series without spoilers if you have read the books? I don't find it difficult at all, simply just discuss the tv show and what happens on it and NOTHING else...it's very easy in fact and I don't see what the problem is at all. I guess it must be people who are so friggin proud over having read the books that they can't help but tell the world everything?? geez...big deal, grow up.

I root for the hound, the only decent person in the whole story hahaha....fav char by far.

Come on now Jules...sure you know something was gonna happen, maybe someone getting poisoned...maybe someone getting killed...but you predicted that the king of the north, his mother, his wife, and all his troops, his wolf and all he was about was going to be NOTHING but memories the day after that wedding? Wow I congratulate you. Cause I never saw that coming when I read the book.

Also have to add how fucking great the hound is...the actor portraying him is just FABULOUS. He truly has captured the Hounds personality of pained silent melancholy combined with brutal deadliness and honesty. Every scene he's in is awesome and he truly has way of showing us the truth of things both in his actions and his words. There's no fucking around with the hound, if in doubt, go and ask him and he will tell you how it is or he will kill you and show you how it is. We need The Hound on the Rangers in a bad way.

Awesome stuff I've been waiting for this episode for a long time....LOVED how they left the ending titles without any music or sound whatsoever...just silence...so people get a chance to really get what just happened undisturbed....kind of like a sick goal in overtime playoffs, no comments needed. When I read the books years ago I remember being disappointed and shocked at this point in the story...First Martin kills off Ned Stark my favorite until he died, ok then...lets get some revenge..you really want the starks to get their deserved revenge and it looks pretty good then BAM...they're all gone dude...I was pissed...but then started to realize that these kind of events are exactly why this series is beyond 99 % of all other fantasy because it's realistic...shit doesn't go down the way it's planned...and ppl are evil..and it's dirty..and if you're a hero you die...and if you stumble on root hitting your head on a rock you die....and if you sit with the wrong crowd at the bar you die...if you get the flu you die.....it's all dark and very nasty and ppl are clamoring like little ants against a tide to get some kind of control. Excellent stuff.

Death doesn't matter, what you leave behind is what matters, he died with honor and is now feasting with the gods :)
