  1. I blame the Leafs for not finishing the job. We would have beat them or the Panthers lol.
  2. For me it's pretty simple. He doesn't show enough drive, competitiveness, or passion in his game to be counted on for grueling, high compete playoff runs. He undeniably has some tools to work with, but one thing is for sure is if he's still here he can't be auto-slotted into the top 6. Not a fucking chance. He's a decent 3rd line player at the moment, but not the kind you win wars with IMO.
  3. For real though, great run with the ol’ Ted Lasso theme. Great season fellas. Disappointing ending of course, but infinitely easier to stomach than 2014 and 2015. A lot of fun. Looking forward to seeing how things shake out this offseason. There’s going to be a lot of things I’d like to see done.
  4. 1. Igor Shesterkin 2. Mika Zibanejad 3. K'Andre Miller 4. Adam Fox 5. Ryan Lindgren 6. Chris Kreider 7. Alexis Lafrenière 8. Filip Chytil 9. Andrew Copp 10. Artemi Panarin 11. Barclay Goodrow 12. Frank Vatrano +1 13. Jacob Trouba -1 14. Kaapo Kakko 15. Tyler Motte 16. Ryan Strome 17. Braden Schneider 18. Justin Braun 19. Kevin Rooney 20. Ryan Reaves 21. Dryden Hunt 22. Alexander Georgiev 23. Jonny Brodzinski 24. Gregg McKegg 25. Julien Gauthier 26. Libor Hajek 27. Patrik Nemeth One last move for the year. Vatrano with a super clutch goal. For the right price I’d bring him back. Trouba unfortunately was horrendous most of the last series here, and it continued tonight. I’m not sure how he gave up a 2 on 1 10 seconds after the game tying goal. It’s really mind blowing. Thunderous hits which can be series changing, but a glaring lack of hockey IQ…and he handles the puck like a grenade. Great season on the power rankings. The list certainly doesn’t look like how I thought it would look going into it lol
  5. Refs are a joke. All of a sudden deciding to call shit that’s happened over and over the last 3 games. If anyone doesn’t think game management officiating is a thing I don’t know what to tell you.
  6. A lot of signs of a tired and hurt team. Guys are falling down with nobody near them. They can’t receive easy passes cleanly. Puck bouncing off their sticks even when unpressured. Etc.
  7. Honestly Igor didn’t even look upset getting beat by that, which isn’t normal body language for him giving up one he should get. He might be checked out carrying this poor effort in front of him
  8. Tampa gets away with so much chippy shit. I think the Rangers are afraid to respond in kind because the soft calls have only been going one way.
  9. I know this team has “come back” in them, but I think it’s pretty imperative to score first. And if they don’t, they can’t go multiple goals behind in order to have a chance. The Lightning aren’t the Penguins. Vasy isn’t Domingue.
  10. I would kill to see Gauthier get a go. Probably the only guy on the roster who would have no qualms about driving the puck straight to the net and make Vasy feel uncomfortable on a rush or two like that. Whether he scores or not is a different story lol
  11. Interesting. https://www.lohud.com/story/sports/nhl/rangers/2022/06/11/ny-rangers-game-6-lineup-surprise-changes-may-works/7581876001/
  12. This sounds like some interesting things are about to happen. “Win a differrent way” to me hints at a different look in the lineup for sure. A full on psycho mode to distribute the wealth across 4 lines capable of scoring would be interesting. Kreider - Zibanejad - Kakko Lafreniere - Chytil - Copp Panarin - Goodrow - Hunt Motte - Strome - Vatrano Flip Panarin/Motte or Goodrow/Strome as game calls for it.
  13. Why? B2b champs, won 3 in a row, at home, have all momentum. Don’t blame experts for picking them. That said, fuck em all. Fuck em all right between the butt cheeks up to their colon.
