  1. You could argue that comeback in Montreal was the turning point of the season for this team. Trailing 4-0 and 5-3 to win 6-5, without Zib still out injured. They are 25-15-2 since that game.
  2. Montreal has been a House of Horrors for the Rangers since 1926. I still can't believe the comeback they had there earlier in the season. This game tonight, followed with a home and home against the hot Flyers. Tough.
  3. Oh, oops, I meant non-displaced. Even if it is better, I still would just shut him down for the rest of the season to fully recover. They have enough goaltending with Henrik and Georgiev. Obviously Shesterkin has been amazing, but they still have enough goaltending to where they can at least get into the postseason. Hopefully this doesn't affect his game long term.
  4. I don't buy into the tanking bullshit. I will never root for them to lose. The same goes for the players. Instilling a mindset to lose is not good, especially for a young team. Plus, if you're a professional athlete, it should be in your blood to go out onto the ice (or field) and win.
  5. Does the fact that it was a displaced fracture guarantee he could come back this season? Maybe best case scenario he can play in the postseason if they make it.
  6. Hopefully the Rangers have some sandpaper to their game in the Flyers' matchups.
  7. They would probably be in a better spot if Zib didn't miss 13 games too.
  8. My expectations wouldn't necessarily be high if they got in. But, the NHL is one of those sports where if you get in, you just never know.
  9. How many writers use this place to help them with material? It is flattering in a sense, no? lol
  10. Yeah, I mean it's still basically a dump with a paint job, but it just feels more like an Islanders/Rangers game when it's there. That goal, though, should have never happened. lol
  11. Pageau just looks like an Islander. An annoying little piss-ant. I can't stand him, even when he was in Ottawa. It's similar to when they had PA Parenteau. He just looks like an annoying Islander.
  12. I don't think I've ever seen the Rangers score an OT goal like that, just a bomb slap shot from that far out. I was so pumped after this. Also, it's nice to have the Rangers back playing at Nassau. It just feels better than Barclays, plus I think they only won one game there. Georgiev's play against the Islanders maybe helps him stay. Anytime you have a goalie who can dominate a division rival, stuff like that should matter. Although, they've done well overall within their division this year anyway.
  13. February 11th for 6 minutes when Shesterkin had to leave the game briefly. His last start was February 3rd.
  14. I'm glad they didn't wind up doing that. I'd rather have the first.
  15. The Rangers singing Kumbaya over the re-signing of Chris Kreider! https://www.nhl.com/rangers/news/blueshirts-big-acquisition-chris-kreider/c-315509050?icmp=web_nyr_article_dl
  16. What's the highest the pick could be? It's close to middle of the pack, isn't it? 13-15?
  17. Even his last year being past his prime he was still almost a point per game player the year after the lockout. I know that year in general was pretty offense-heavy, but still.
  18. Oh, I forgot about Kreider being sick. Damn. Yeah, this game got a lot harder. lol
