Been on a big LP kick for the past week. I recently cancelled my DirecTV subscription. I had an LP concert, Guitar Center Sessions, saved to my DVR since December of 2014. I never watched it. I wanted to watch it when Chester killed himself but just couldn't bring myself to do it. After cancelling, I knew I would lose the ability to watch my DVR come morning so the first thing I did that night was watch that concert. It was such a good performance. It perfectly presented everything they did well as a band. Their typical loud heavy music and vocals, their softer music and vocals, Mike's rapping, Mr Hahn's turntable/synthesiser skills, etc. It was post Hunting Party and had a phenomenal setlist. There was also an interview between the host and Chester and Mike. Listening to them go back and forth had me on the verge of breaking down a few times. I've been listening to nothing but LP for almost 2 weeks, watching old live performances on youtube, etc. Here is the link to the Guitar Center Sessions concert. I never found him funny in any movie I have seen him. However, I watched a few episodes at work while on my lunch break and found the show to be hysterical so I sucked it up and started watching about 2 weeks ago. I just started season 7 last night, addicted and still going strong.

The reality of that is so sad. Outside of those two playoff runs and one or two regular seasons he really was as mediocre as it gets.

I'd be perfectly happy hovering around the .500 mark for the season with a lot of competitive one goal losses. I want one more year of high quality draft picks to cement this process. Bingo

How would he do that? The WJC is played right in the middle of the NHL season. The World Championship, played in May/June, would have been more doable.

Agreed on all accounts. Pidto is annoying as fuck too. I hate Pierre but I don't think he sucked. He just tried too hard. He was so good at it that it was annoying.

Seriously. I actually never watched it when it was on tv because I hate Steve Carell. I have recently gotten into it and have been binging on it on netflix. There is no way that show would work in today's pussified world.

Wife and I just started this a few nights ago. Wow. I am loving it so far. I was in the dog house the other day because she fell asleep mid episode 2. I ended up falling asleep mid episode 5 :doh:. She woke up a few times asking if I started a new episode without her. I told her it was the same episode that she fell asleep watching. I just couldn't stop watching. Can't wait to watch some more. I don't even care that I have to watch a few over again.

Been seeing advertisements for season 2 but I've yet to see an actual date.

Yea its definitely going to be different for a while that's for sure.

Hahaha if I am not in a pool somewhere I am perfectly fine enjoying the central air we paid so much for.

While I yearn for a beach somewhere exotic with a mojito in hand and several more in my belly I am absolutely looking forward to the first of hopefully many family vacations. I hope we can provide my kids with as much if not more than I was able to experience as a kid. Granted it is still definitely early as my son just turned two and my daughter will be 4 months soon. Lots to look forward to.

Geez so lately I've seen Dublin, Greece, Italy, India, Iceland all mentioned as your getaways....We're going on our first vacation since August of 16, prior to having our 1st kid in July of 17. Taking the kids to Hershey Park with some friends and their kids. So this is life now...
