Do you honestly think, even if he busts his ass and becomes the player we all thought he was when we drafted him 1st overall, a) he'll get top 8 minutes b) get more PP time and c) be on a longer leash. Knowing this fuckin team, IMO probably not. Especially when you have 2 LW's making almost 20 mil and one IMO, is a fuckin diva.

Yeah, me to. Already tired of baseball what they call baseball.
Or as I like to call it..."home run or bust-ball".

What's that have to do with you being wrong?
If I'm wrong, I'm wrong but that's how I feel and I'm pretty sure a lot of fans share my sentiment.

There's a reason we say he likes donuts and is out of shape. He probably got used to dominating juniors on low effort (off-the-ice effort to be in tip-top shape). The low effort carried over, but the dominating did not. It's disappointing to think he's essentially not changed his approach in either of the two summers he's had with the Rangers. If he whined about Gallant, and a new coach + a wake up call at the contract negotiation table doesn't trigger another level, then you get rid of him. My money is that he will be in significantly better shape come October.
Well of course he's gonna say that. He knows no matter what he's still gonna play second & third fiddle to Ice Capades Panarin & CK20. If he makes the slightest of errors, he's gonna ride the pine.

You do realize at the time most pundits ragged on them for having an awful roster? And the trades they made to acquire Eichel, Stone, Chandler Stephenson, Theodore (drafted but also negotiated) and Hill were incredibly bold and/or shrewd moves at the time?
Well I'm not "most pundants" and "most pundants" won't say anything like what fans say if they want to keep their cushy jobs. Ask NYR reporters about that.

How much you wanna bet Bettman had a hard on as he's congratulating the Golden Showers on their Cup win that was pretty much handed to them on a silver platter. Took them 6 years but they got their token ring from a rigged X Draft that gave them an all star team from jump.

Pretty sure hes also played center.
Which maybe makes Chytil expendable in a trade. I said elsewhere, but Chytil and Lafrenière for Keller and a little something coming back may work.
Keller being able to play ever forward position gives options on what to do with the lineup if you are moving Chytil.
Adding Keller to an already soft forward group, doesn't change much, besides adding more skill.
So, with that said, replace the lower tier, soft skill, with upper tier soft skill and it looks a little better. Chytils new contract makes him an attractive trade option (for the Rangers) if they are looking to upgrade in skill.
I like both Chytil and Keller, but it's more of the same. Need that gritty, shooter RW more than Keller IMO. If they were blowing it up? Shit yeah, I'd be all about Keller.
They really need to find a Zach Hyman type. Too bad he was a success with Edmonton. Really thought that was going to flop.
if they can get one of 'Zona's 4 3's (preferably a high 3), that might be enough....

Keller is a LW. He comes to the Rangers he's either gonna be stuck on the 3rd line or be forced to play on his off wing. Just like ALF and you see how well that's going...

Now you're a REAL EYE-talian Tony.

If we had to give up a 1 for Tarasenko, I'll be shocked if the Devils didn't give up a 1 for Timo...

Pasteurized, homogenized & sanitized "for your protection"...AND GUESS WHAT?? NO ONE is buying outside of the core audience and now those people are taking their bidness elsewhere.

Trouba's no trade lasts through next season. His wife just started her residency in a hospital in New York. Why would he waive his NTC to leave his wife and go to the worst team in the league? (Spare us snarky comments about leaving his wife).
You don't think as soon as Trouba's deal becomes a M-NTC, the team won't ask for the the trade list??

CK is on pace to score about 39 goals this year. If he continues to score over 25 for the next few years, his contract will be a bargain. Move on Kreider haters.
If this franchise is smart (long pause) CK20 & Trouba for that matter will be gone by summer 2024.

...and guess what?? They still won't draw. Just more cash in the trash. Can't wait for the next lockout because of teams like this.

I'm so done with Trouba, at his price tag. He's a 5M guy. And now they can't trade him.
I think what we saw last night is more of a product of playing with 5D and switching partners causing disorganization.
Lindgren is going to be a cap casualty as it sits right now. That by definition is somebody you have to let go because you can't afford to pay them. It's not because you want to let them go, but there's not an unlimited payroll.
When Lindgren hits arbitration, Trouba's deal becomes a M-NTC. I don't know about you but the SECOND Trouba's deal becomes a M-NTC, I want the fargin trade list. TOOT SUITE.
