  1. Why? You'd be trading a guy who has value but never lived up to his potential (and will probably get paid too much for this team) While keeping a vet who's a leader in the locker room, reliable on the ice and won't break the bank. You have to have some of those guys on a young team.
  2. This. Which is why I'm torn on calling him up. He seems to be responding well to his demotion and has elevated his play. Taking him away from that to not play top 6 mins is a step backwards IMO. I also think Quinn needs to stop line shuffling. These guys need more time to gel together.
  3. The Replacements 1. (1) Nikita Kucherov (TB - RW) 2. (24) Sergei Bobrovsky (Fla - G) 3. (25) Mikko Rantanen (Col - RW) 4. (48) Matthew Tkachuk (Cgy - LW) 5. (49) Elias Pettersson (Van - C) 6. (72) Tomas Hertl (SJ - C,LW) 7. (73) John Klingberg (Dal - D) 8. (96) Evgenii Dadonov (Fla - LW,RW) 9. (97) Thomas Chabot (Ott - D) 10. (120) Thomas Greiss (NYI - G) 11. (121) Ryan McDonagh (TB - D) 12. (144) Cale Makar (Col - D) 13. (145) Ryan Johansen (Nsh - C) 14. (168) Nikita Gusev (NJ - LW) 15. (169) Patric Hornqvist (Pit - RW) 16. (192) Josh Bailey (NYI - LW,RW)
  4. Strome - will be huge for the team and himself if he pans out at 2C. Andersson - speaks for itself. I'd hate for the team to have another top 10 pick be a bust. Trouba - considering how long he's signed for, it would be disastrous if he turned into Shattenkirk 2.0
  5. How does Clutterbuck not get a penalty there? Punched lindgren while he was being held by Czikas
  6. Yea. IIRC they also notify you when it opens up.
  7. Omg.. I can't handle this shit. Don't get this close and fuck it up.
  8. It's rough being a NY fan right now.
  9. All right enough. Agree to disagree and move on please.
  10. I haven't seen trouba play enough to know what to expect honestly. Skjei, I just hope can get his head out of his ass. I'm tired of getting "glimpses" of what he can be.
  11. lol I wasn't disputing that. I'm one of those fans that actually agrees with the idea that he's an overall average QB (Even though numbers wise he's top 10 in some categories) The point I was trying to make was that he still managed to deliver two championships. Which is ultimately what playing the game is about isn't it? You said it yourself, numbers wise Richter and Osgood were average goalies. But what do you think fans think of most when they hear those names? Their stats or what they accomplished? I think I'm just in the minority when it comes to how I view a successful career. :) Oh and before it happens, stfu Mike. I don't want to hear what you have to say. We spoke about this.
