I walk to and from work. About 25 minutes each way. Tuesday and Wednesday were brutal. Had to towel my face off in the bathroom for like 10 minutes before I could even sit down. Today wasnt so bad since it was breezy.

 

Thankfully I dont need a suit though. Just a button down and pants.

One of these days I'll get the correct timing for the drive home. Took me 4 ish hours to get from Pittsburgh to the Meadowlands and then 3.5 to get from there to long island

I mean it's not so much a bad time as it is just bad timing, with everyone in the family relatively spread out this weekend

And with my dad the past 5 years have been rough since he mostly dealt with his father's issues on his own, since my elderly grandmother can only do so much and even then did so much that it compromised her own health. Hopefully now that this happened it'll destress my dad a little bit.

 

While we're on the subject I'd also like to point out that jews needing to bury the dead right away is very counterproductive to the whole funeral process. There's like a week's worth of planning involved that you need to effectively get done in 2 days tops

True. I guess its also weird because this isnt wholly unexpected. Its been pretty bad for 5-6 years.

Mom told me to call my dad and try to get him to maybe push the funeral to Monday as opposed to Sunday for obvious reasons, but I cant reach him. Hes probably driving to Brooklyn but usually answers via bluetooth. Is it weird that I feel worse for my dad because he basically has to deal with all this on his own for the time being than I do about my grandpa?

Fuck...my grandfather just passed away. It wasnt entirely unexpected but its still hitting me. Just the damn worst timing too, being that apparently the funeral is set for Sunday and my dad is only one of my immediate family thats home. Mom left to visit sister in Chicago this morning. Good things plans changed outside of that or I wouldve been there too. This sucks.

I have an issue with that interview. I doubt that the producers would let Harington do the interview unless Jon is in fact dead. Also, even though they are an entertainment publication, EW isn't going to sacrifice it's integrity to help a TV show play into deceiving its audience. I'm pretty annoyed.

 

EW isnt 100% independent though. Both them and HBO are owned by TimeWarner, which is why you see EW get the scoop on Game of Thrones stuff first, and how they always get these post-show interviews.

Kit Harington did an interview with EW and he says hes not coming back next season...

Pretty much how book 5 ended. A million cliffhangers.

Weird. I dont know what I would do without google maps. It's never steered me wrong, no pun intended. Sometimes I use it even when I know where I'm going just in case theres an accident or traffic ahead and they suggest a different route due to that

You can still download Google Maps on iOS though...

 

Also today I learned Apple Maps didnt already have public transport information. Thats a bit ridiculous.

The way twitter embeds GIFs now is actually in an mp4 format, which can't be embedded here. Like the Sedin GIF I just posted from a twitter gif that wont embed here. Thee a way to add mp4 to the allowable formats here so they dont just show up as links?
