Staying in Woodland Hills but I'll be all over the place doing stuff. Have longtime family friends out there that I'm staying with. Thisll be my 6th or 7th time out there, and im not going with the rest of my family so I'm excited to knock out some stuff I've always wanted to do but didnt have chance to prior.

I also thought it was kinda funny that they focused on one of the ships filled with Dothraki and everyone appeared to know what they were doing. No one appeared to be freaking out about any of it.

 

Opening scene of next season should be Daenerys doing a status check on the fleet and a smash cut to a bunch of Dothraki freaking out about some waves and fumbling with a sail. Maybe do a mockumentary of a Greyjoy sailor struggling to teach the Dothraki how to sail the ship.

Yeah Varys' appearance is my one nitpick. Him and Dany never met on-screen until that last scene on the ship. What she knows about him is that Jorah spied on her for him. I'm sure Tyrion explained to her that he can be trusted but one scene of her and Varys meeting and burying the hatchet wouldve been nice.

I was so happy we got Wyman Manderly, even though it wasnt the same as in the book. Would've loved to see Davos at that kangaroo court scene in the White Harbor and then Wyman's speech to Davos after.

So did he previously assume Shireen died by happenstance? Did he think she was somehow spared from the slaughter by Ramsay?

Yeah that seems like something for next season. I still think things might go kaboom though. They've been rubbing the allusions in our face so hard. I don't know what Cersei's end game is if she ignites the wildfire. I don't think she would kill herself.

I think she does know based on the prior episode where she goes to sleep huddled in a dark corner clutching Needle. Kinda odd to go from justifiably paranoid to care-free with nothing happening in-between that shouldve significantly changed her mindset.

To clarify I was talking about the last weeks episode where Arya does things with her right hand, demands a room on a ship with lots of money she somehow obtained, walks around wistfully and care-free and apparently happy for the first time...ever?, talks to strangers, etc. None of that is really in line with who Arya is. The whole thing was just odd enough to make you think it wasn't really her, but apparently not.

Anyone else kinda disappointed with the payoff in the Arya storyline. All the hints and clues that not everything was as it seemed was just the show forgetting Arya's traits? Kinda disappointing on a few levels. Also the chase scene was pretty cliche, and I guess that soup must have magical powers to heal some abdomen stab wounds overnight enough to do some heavy running and jumping and falling. The whole sequence there just seemed so lazy.

So...is there anything to Jaqen not giving Arya a new face to kill the actress or is just simply because it would be too confusing/CGI costly for TV to give one to her?

Now that Michael Lombardo (HBO exec) is out who knows. But the plan was 13 episodes over seasons 7/8, AMC style, which would make 18 episodes left. Could change though.

You can use AWOIAF to trace the Lannister line from the names. It checks out.

Not sure about that, Tommen rules as a Baratheon after all, who would be officially extinct in the main line after his death. So propably some cadet-branch of the Baratheons would be next. But at that point it will be "the strongest rules" anyway. So Queen Slowpoke with her new Army of Horselords.

Also I forgot where I saw it, but someone traced out the line of succession if (come on..when) Tommen gets killed. And since everyone else is dead or ineligible, the next in line is Cersei...

I worked a few parties at Bailey Arboretum. It's a great place for smaller parties. They can put up a tent outdoors on the lawn or have the whole thing inside. Plus they have the capability to have the ceremony at the same place if that's something you would like.
