I’m going to throw out a theory that it had something to do with Georgiev’s post game interview that talked only about himself and not his team…AT ALL!

Worst move ever on a 2 on 0…need to open your blade up to show the goalie you are going to shoot…that leg kick isn’t even being seen by the goalie…

BTW, I just learned this recently with my son being a goalie…whenever a goalie comes off the ice (delayed penalty or pulled for an extra skater), they don’t get credit for that time on the ice, so their GAA goes up!!! So, if you are pulled for the last 2 minutes of the game, your GAA is figured on 58 minutes of net time, not 60!

I’ve noticed too that after wins, he’s the least enthusiastic congratulator for Shesty. If you don’t want to be a backup, you play beer league where your team only has one goalie! Otherwise, sit there, light a match, stomp your feet, and cheer like you mean it for your team. He doesn’t have long with the blue shirts. Hopefully he has a good streak here while Shesty is recovering so that his marketability goes up…otherwise, teams will focus on his see saw results thus far in his career. I’d like to see Khudoban in Ranger blue, but that’s because I’m a fan of the shorter goalies! (My son is a goalie and only 6 foot)! LOL

He went down like this once before and it looked like he was going to need his leg amputated. I suffered from hip impingement in both hips after a career playing hockey and sometimes just minding the wrong way makes your hip lock up. Finally got both replaced and no more locking up. Wonder if that’s what’s happening to him?

IR requires you to be out a minimum of 7 days…that would make a minimum of 4 games if his IR time started today (4 December).
