So points is your only gauge for evaluating a defenseman? Mattius can actually play defense and keep the puck out if the net, and is physically tough to play against. I say this as Miller just gave the puck away to Ottawa leading to a breakaway goal against. 

Would love to get Mattius Samuelsson from Buf straight up for Miller. He's a +4 on a shit team under a favorable long term contract.

Gotta admit I had my doubts about this team with how crappy they looked in pre-season. I know one game doesn't make a trend, but this is one heck of a great game they played tonight. Not only did tgey score every conceivable way, they were incredibly responsible defensively, and we actually outshot the other team!

I din't know why Gallant didn't use Miller on PP2 over Trouba. Not only is Miller more offensively gifted than Trouba but he has the foot speed to recover if the puck bounces past him.
