Again… right coach through the last 2 years. Not so now. He’s not the guy who gets you over the hump.
Yep. Right on the money!

I'm closely watching how Brind'Amor is handling the Devils, and so far it's been day and night, compared to Gallant.
I'll wait until the series is over, but so far I'd have to say that it's been amazing, the difference....and Brindy is short 3 of his BEST players! We had ZERO injuries!

If I was Drury I’d prolly wait till dev-car series are over. Depending on how any of them lose/win. To proper gauge how good/bad devs are

He should be fired yesterday. Watching dev car game now. Car is reaping shcmid a new one right now. He is utter crap. Has got 2 shutouts on us. Yeah right, next Dryden. Car is totally controlling dev speed. Very systematic team. Tell me it’s not coaching.

Looked to me like Ruff deployed a 3-3-3-3 because they were everywhere.
Yeah, right? I saw that too

Gallant may not be a master tactician. But we would then be on the 3rd coach in a row trying to get the same set of highly paid NHL hockey players to shoot, go to the net and try to score.
Somebody has to be held responsible for this embarrassment. Not with this roster

How long till galant gets the cab?

Drury. By firing galant

Miller will be RFA without arbitration rights. So, unless he’s offered a qualifier from other team, he ain’t going nowhere. He is ny rangers property no matter what they offer him as an extension. Once that extension is near the end, it might make sense to trade him depending on his further development and potential asking price from his camp. At that point he might become a causality of a salary cap. But before that I don’t see any reason to trade him. He is and will be relatively cheap for next couple of years.

On the other hand how many teams can afford to play 2 first overalls on the third line. One of which is future hall of famer the moment he hangs his skates. For somebody who don’t follow rangers it might look like this team is loaded with McDavids, McKinnons alike. Galant’s meta verse. Lol.

It’s TWO games with Kane. 3 in 4 nights. I’m not one for excuses but take a step back from the ledge. If you thought this was going to be a scenario where everything was going to fall into place overnight, well then I have a bridge to sell you.
You like new here. It’s New York. We need everything and we need it now!

Three games in 6 days against Penguins is going to be the difference between 3rd place and the wild card.
Yep. No doubt

What a fucking disgrace. I think Dolan has to buy that building where nhls office is and bulldoze it to the ground with betman still in it

If they bow out of the playoffs early, a new coach may be coming anyway.
And it should. With this loaded roster (obviously if it works as we think it should) barring total disappearance of both goaltenders the buck stops at galant
-
All I know and care about is that right now at least on paper this roster looks the best since….. I guess cup winning roster of 94. Will it work in real life, time will tell but for now we have the best tool available these days in nhl.
