Carolina will adjust their special teams no doubt about that. I don’t think that our pp which was kinda inconsistent all season long will keep on producing at 100 percent. We have to cut on taking penalties. One sided referring or not. That is playing with fire.  Have to find a way.

Hope somebody wipes that fucking smug off Diangelos face. And subbans while they are at it.

It will largely depend not only on leagues scheduling but on venue availability as well. Anyone knows how knicks are doing?

This one would be tough. Carolina is better team now than they were when we played them during the regular season. I watched their 1st round and to me it looked like they handled isls very easy. This one definitely will not be walk in the park. 

I thought rangers were smarter than that. Washington is playing them like a fucking flute with this super slo-mo game

My understanding of all this data would be that this team was not built for playoffs. That is what happened. Desperate teams play desperate ie play-off style. We still play regular season style. Hence the result. 

Every fucking no name goalie becomes Dryden playing against the Rangers. So much for 5 on 5 offense.

Was weird game where lots of records were set. Quick number 1 us born goalie. Kreider 300 goals. Fox 300 points. Laf 1st hat trick. Goodrow 2nd goal. 

These flyers team is poor man’s tampa of their cup years. 

I’m afraid this was the preview of a playoff run. I wouldn’t call this team "built for playoffs"

Agreed. That was a dumb move on Rempe’s part. Could have cost a game. I do not think laviolette will tolerate that stupidity for a long. At some point Rempe will become a liability and will be sent down. If he continue doing shit like that, that is.

If we look back at last year playoffs fiasco, we would see that we surrendered 2 game series lead and subsequently lost it to a team which is not even in playoff picture this year, to a coach who got fired just now, who had used a rookie goalie which shut us down few times during these series and who is not even in the league now. Our best point getter was a rental guy named Kane, who played on the one leg. I think problem with this team lays down deeper than just adding or subtracting one or two players. Obviously, this team for years now is in the need of at least one RW since buchnevich trade. But will it solve all the problems? To me bigger problem is with the leading core of this team. These guys do not perform well under pressure. No idea how to fix that. 

p.s.  just venting.

To me more like Chytil is gone with his 4.4 mil/year
