I think Pronman is openly aware that he dwells in a highly speculative business and that he will make mistakes, sometimes glaring ones. But his seems about as educated a voice on prospects as is out there, having carved out this weird niche career and, like McKenzie, leans heavily on pro scouts for confirmation and to fill in holes. I bet that he will begin there, being a new shiny toy and all - particularly while they feel out what Fox can do now. Trouba has said, "I wanna be the man." They just paid him like he is and I would think they'll give him a chance to show what kind of load he can shoulder.

They may have uncertainty about how the transition will go for Fox, but they have said he will get a full opportunity to make the team out of camp. If I were them, I'd watch the two of them go head-to-head before I made any assumptions. I certainly wouldn't - at this stage of the (re)build - lean towards keeping Fox in Hartford for 60% of the season just to keep the 3rd from becoming a 2nd.
