They use to do 1-16 seeding.  I remember back in 81' I believe the Rangers played the Kings in the first round, then the Blues before losing to the Islanders.  It was cool to play different teams.  Regular season seemed to mean a bit more back then, but even just conference seeding 1-8 is better than the current format.

If ever there was evidence the league needed to change the playoff format no matter who wins this series one of the top two teams in the confernece will be out after the second round.  

Hughes should win but the league has a love affair with Makar.

Rangers had their easy opponent.  Every series from here on out is going to be a hard fought series.  There's no easy teams left.

Hellebuyck is lucky they vote on awards before the playoffs.  

It's easy to say sit Rempe but their record is 18-2-1 when he plays and right around .500 when he doesn't since he played his first game.  Not so sure that is a coincidence.

Other than his penalty killing Wennberg has been pretty vanilla and had a rough game 3 in the first round.

Roslovic has been better in the playoffs.

Tough choice who to sit if Chytil is actually ready to play.  He might have to wait for an injury or for Rempe to do something stupid enough to have to take him out of the lineup.

Imagine how good this team would be if they had a #1 center.

No reason to not get the sweep.  Caps are running out of defensemen  and have very little offense.  Lindgren’s mystique in goal has run out too.  Carlson is playing over 30 mins a game and is going to get tired eventually.  Just don’t let up.  

Wennberg giving lots of reasons to play Chytil over him. 

If fans don't whine about the refs they'll always find something else to cry about.

With Roslovic scoring the only way Chytil plays this round is if Wennberg can't go.

Keith and Ozzy did go to the bathroom a couple of times together.  Pete never left his seat.
